My name is Rebecca Lynn Callahan and I am a recent graduate of Cecil College for Photography and Visual Communications. With a minor in Business Management and General Studies. My work consists of a wide range of photography genres, including nature, wildlife, portrait, fictional, and studio. My favorite elements are natural lighting, black and white images, candid shots, and pops of color. I love to capture life’s little moments in real time creating lasting memories through photographs.

ARTIST STATEMENT
My work often reflects my life. For me, photography is limitless, you can go as far as your imagination leads you. In the future I would love to travel, capturing images of nature, landscapes, and wildlife. While also catering to my creative side and pushing myself to venture further into fictional photography.
I have a love for natural lighting, black and white images, candid shots, and pops of color. One of my favorite parts of the portrait process is meeting new people and capturing them in their element. This allows for a connection and story to emerge. That is where the candid shot means the most. They capture the moments in between the poses. Candid’s see a new mom kissing her baby for the first time. A child playing in a mud puddle in between poses or that look of complete admiration that a couple gives one another, when they think the other one isn’t looking. I love to capture life’s little moments in real time, the good, the bad, and the messy.
