He is the shadows in the corner. He is the darkness in your soul. He is the blackness in your heart. He is the monster under the full moon. He is the evil in the twilight…He’s actually a pretty nice guy once you get to know him…

A Cecil College student in Video Production, and eventual Full Sail University student in Game Design, Lucas LaMonica often finds the extraordinary to be more interesting than the ordinary. He prefers to make something with more fictional and fantastical elements, where his imagination has little restrictions. His work tends to focus on the dark, mysterious, and sometimes humorous, and he often uses his own characters to be the star of the show and tell the story. With many of the things Lucas creates, he wants to bring you into his strange, sometimes twisted little world, where you’re never quite sure what you’ll find.

This time, Lucas will be showing some of his photographs of his Lego Bionicle figures. Bionicle was a toyline released by Lego from 2001-2010, and was rebooted in 2015. Consisting of biomechanical heroes, villains, and monsters and boasting an epic story line, the series has become one of Lucas’s main inspirations, and he has even built his own characters, whom he has put into his videos and photographs.
