Life is made up of millions of fleeting moments. Once they pass they are gone forever. This concept is the driving force that keeps me striving to create art that is composed of natural and raw emotion. Photography is my way of providing people with glimpses from their past to invoke feelings and memories which they’ll hold on to and cherish forever. I have always been able to see the beauty and good in everyone I meet. Photographing individuals allows me to capture the beauty I see and share it with others.
Looking back to when I first started at Cecil and into the present, I can’t help but feel proud of the artist I have become. One of my goals for the future is continuing to improve my craft by constantly seeking self-improvement. Another major goal is of mine is to continue to build my business, Laura Wight Photography. Above all else, I want to use my God given talents in photography to be part of something bigger than myself by helping and serving others.
