Jessi Cooke is a multimedia artist who was born and raised in Cecil County, MD. In addition to her passion for drawing and painting mediums, she explores interest in surface design with her wheel-thrown ceramic pieces. By experimenting with a variety of materials, she creates stylized imagery evoking feelings of serenity in her artwork. The process of layering multiple materials in her work, allows her to focus on fine details and express her ideas about the world. Jessi’s work has been displayed at the Elkton Station Gallery and has earned multiple honorable mention awards. Jessi will graduate from Cecil College in May 2020 with an Associate of Fine Arts with a concentration in Studio Arts. She will further her education at Salisbury University to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
