VIDEO GAME PROJECT

My name is Zach Swoffer. I am a student in the  VCP program at Cecil College from Elkton, Maryland. I work at the local ACME Markets. I graduated high school with a 3.2 GPA, I made Honor Roll 3 out of 4 marking periods since Middle School, and I am certified with certain Adobe programs thanks to the Cecil County of Technology. My goal in life is to become a videogame designer. I plan on coming back to Cecil for the IT program, as video game design also requires coding, which I need better knowledge on.

My project is about the process of remastering my game concept Donut Boy after the original’s code had gotten corrupted when trying to recover it. The idea had come from a scene from the Nickelodeon TV Series, Jimmy Neutron, where the titular character’s father, Hugh Neutron was on a movie set delivering some donuts to a movie director (who referred to Hugh as Donut Boy) and asked about if it’s the scene where Donut Boy sings the Donut Boy theme song, which causes him to start singing the theme song. Back when I was working on my Capstone project from back when I was at CCST during my senior year of high school, the described scene had come to my mind for something to make video game sprites for. I would’ve gotten to making a prototype at the time, but I ran out of time to try and make a playable prototype sadly.
